The new Meta Trak S5 DEADLOCK E-TEC is the next generation of vehicle tracking and immobilisation system from the vehicle security experts, Meta Trak.

The Meta Trak S5 DEADLOCK E-TEC features Meta Trak�s next-generation push-to-start immobilisation whereby vehicle immobilisation is achieved through immobilisation of the vehicle's start button. Developed in-house by Meta Trak, the DEADLOCK E-TEC security system has been uniquely designed for hybrid and electric technology, although it can be used for normal ICE (internal combustion engine)-only applications.

The Meta Trak S5 DEADLOCK E-TEC utilises Meta Trak�s newly accredited Thatcham CAT2 immobiliser, used uniquely to achieve immobilisation of a vehicle's start button. The most significant advantage of Meta Trak�s newly developed push-to-start immobilisation is that it provides a way to immobilise modern electrified powertrain technologies without causing faults that may appear on the vehicle�s dash display, a common issue with other forms of immobilisation on modern vehicles. The DEADLOCK E-TEC is effective at preventing a variety of modern digital theft methods such as relay attacks, key cloning, OBD attacks/CAN injections, and more.
